The original Cayman Diving Lodge was founded in the early 1970’s by diving pioneer Mr.Bob Soto. The lodge site was always a landmark in the village of East End and the first building on the beach side that you would see when coming up from the airport or George Town.

The old dock in the above image probably blew down every time there was a tropical storm but the buildings stood for many many years.

You can tell how old the photos are by the types of cars parked out front, and the 4 digit license plates.

One thing that has never changed is the beautiful beach, the tranquil waters of the lagoon and the best diving in the Caribbean.
